JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Billing Analyst who is responsible for:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Validate new customer account setup and maintain customer data changes as needed
- Review all orders for accuracy adding or correcting fields prior to posting invoices and credit memos with the ability to recognize issues and apply price corrections and applicable charges
- Apply any list prices, price variances, discount programs and payment terms relevant to a customer's account or in general per price sheets
- Review and validate price variances for accuracy in all fields affecting revenue
- Validate fees, taxes, shipment and other charges per program or price sheets
- Interact with sales, Customer care and customers to resolve price, program and invoice issues
- Review data, correct discrepancies, and reconcile accordingly
- Maintain and modify Salesperson assignments and plan journals as defined by sales for reporting purposes. Review order and invoice reports correcting sales assignments
- Process sample and donation orders with proper G/L posting and approval
- Work with IT/EDI team on setup and maintenance of customers and procedures as needed
- Assist in setting up process for automating customer invoices generation from ERP system
- Adherence to and management of internal control policies and procedures
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 3-5 years of and billing experience
- Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency with Excel essential with knowledge of ERP software,
- Accuracy and attention to detail is necessary
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to interface effectively with internal and external customers
- Ability to work in a face paced/high volume environment and excellent organizations skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties with strong work ethic
- Salary: $57,000+
