JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking Full-time Millwright (Maintenance Worker) at our Alberta site. The primary function of this role is to repair and perform preventative maintenance on equipment at the Seba Beach Plant. Reporting to the Plant Maintenance Team Leader, the role will maintain safety and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE:

• Maintain Bagger and Pin Auger operations
• Fabricate, service and repair equipment and follow up on maintenance actions
• Use of power tools, jacking/lifting, towing etc.
• Participate in Incident and Hazard investigation
• Maintain a clean work area and support team on Housekeeping
• Follow all standard and safety procedures as per company’s policies
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Proven experience working in and maintaining a safe work environment with intimate knowledge of LOTO procedures
• Red Seal Certification (preferred)
• Minimum five years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work in restricted space, at heights and following all relevant safety practices
• Experienced in Heat Stress, Hot Work procedures, and welding
• Possesses strong mechanical aptitude
• Competent using computer-based maintenance software
• Excellent working knowledge of appropriate use of hand tools and maintenance equipment
• Ability to read and understand detailed repair & instruction manuals
• Shows strong  analytical, problem solving  and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to take direction and demonstrates accountability and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work 8 to 12 hour shifts and preform repetitive motions
• Capable of working outdoors year round, including in a dusty environment
