To further strengthen Sun Gro’s customer service, our exemplary support teams are on call to help professional growers troubleshoot and make the most of Sun Gro® products.

The R&D Intern – Agricultural Product Development will support the R&D department by assisting in the development of agricultural products, mainly 1) to conduct scientific research review and 2) market research and business plans. The intern will work closely with the R&D team to ensure project goals are met and contribute to the overall success of the department.

When you join us, you will:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of agricultural product development.
  • Conduct literature research for technical and scientific overall report to develop agricultural products.
  • Conduct market research to gather data on agricultural trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze research data.
  • Prepare reports and presentations based on research findings.
  • Ensure all projects comply with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of research activities.
  • Support other R&D projects and initiatives as needed.
Our ideal candidate:
  • Completed or currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Agriculture, Horticulture, Business, Marketing).
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Previous experience in agricultural crop production, research review, market research.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the agricultural or horticultural industry.
Hours/Days/Schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday, 30-40 hours per week, day shift.
